Hello, I upgraded to windows 7. I have an Acer 5070 32-bit. Everything works well except for 2 devices without drivers. The yellow exclamation point shows in the Device Manager list. These is the info from the Device Manager: 1) Mass Storage Controller - driver missing. Location: PCI bus 10, device 9, function 2. Device status: The drivers for this device are not installed. View Full Version: [ubuntu] ACER TravelMate 5720- WIRELESS PROBLEMS. Host Controller 0f:06.2 Mass storage controller: Texas Instruments 5-in-1. Is a package to download the correct broadcom wifi driver for you. (Code 28) 2) Unknown device Location: Location 1 (Internal High Definition Audio Bus) Device status: The drivers for this device are not installed. I did it and my laptop works beautifully, it's better than ever, it's more like I gained a new computer. I am not a techie and have no clue what the missing drivers are or where to find them. I run Drivereasy to help with the drivers after I installed Windows 7 and it worked for everything except those 2 drivers. Thanks a lot for the help. The second device should be an audio component. I did not find model 5070 on acer website. If the Vista driver for this model is available, try downloading and instaling it. You can also try installing it manually: 1. In Device Manager in the search bar and press Enter. Click Continue if necessary. Right click on the device and click Update Driver Software 3. Select the ' Browse my computer for driver software'. Check 'Include subfolder' box, and click Browse 5. Browse to the folder where you saved the downloaded driver, and click OK. You can also try reinstalling the sound card driver as below: Reinstall driver ============== 1. Click the Start Button, type 'devmgmt.msc' (without quotation marks) in the Start Search box and press Enter. Double click to expand 'Sound, video and game controllers'. Right click your sound card and click Uninstall. Check 'Delete driver software for this device' check box, click OK. Restart the computer If it does not work, it seems that there is no built-in driver for this audio component. If system sound is working OK, let it in this way. Vivian Xing - MSFT.
